That House is a first-person adventure game with horror elements created in Bitsy using a very early version of a 3d hack created for the tool. Players return to their childhood home under false pretenses and find themselves trapped in a mobius strip of buildings that stretch across time and space.
The underlying story is the player’s father making a deal with a demon for an idealized version of their child. The demon, an entity that manifests itself in architecture and feeds on human misery, draws nearly every version of the player within itself in order to extract the ‘correct’ iteration for the father. During their time within the demon, the player explores the demon’s history on earth.
